  • Valve overload protection

    If the valve has excessive torque during operation, the torque sensor synchronously responds to the control system to detect that the torque value is greater than the torque protection value.   • Automatic phase correction function

    LMTORK's unique phase synchronizer automatic in-phase adjustment device is used to prevent damage to the valve due to improper power wiring, and to ensure that the three-phase motor always has the correct power phase sequence.

  • Single phase protection

    To further prevent the motor from overheating, LMTORK's electronic device constantly monitors the three phases of the power supply. If one or more phases are lost, it can prevent the control circuit from energizing the contactor. As a standard function, you can get on-site and remote alarms when the power fails.

  • Motor temperature overload protection

    LMTORK is equipped with two thermal protection relays in the motor coil to directly detect the temperature of the coil. If the coil is overheated, the control circuit of the actuator can be disconnected when the motor temperature reaches 125°C.

  • Instantaneous reverse protection

    When the actuator receives an instantaneous reversal command, the automatic delay circuit is used to prevent unnecessary wear of the valve stem and gear box caused by the impact load. The circuit can also limit inrush current through a contactor.

  • Modbus

    LMTORK series actuators using Modbus module, using RS485 data bus connection, using Modbus RTU communication protocol, can transmit data at a maximum speed of 38.4Kbit/s, can be easily configured in the current popular configuration software, and provide actuators Fieldbus communication for all control functions and feedback data. The bus control system automatically switches to a normal communication module to ensure the normal operation of the system.

  • Automatic self-test and diagnosis function (ASTD)

    At any moment, once the actuator is powered on, it will automatically detect the operating circuit to ensure correct operation. Equipment failures that rarely occur can be diagnosed and automatically displayed on the screen as icons. At the same time, the electric operation of the actuator will be prohibited to facilitate on-site maintenance.

  • Remote diagnosis-IrDATM

    LMTORK executed smoothly and used IrDA to realize fast, safe, non-intrusive communication and standardized data exchange. The configuration of the actuator can be analyzed and changed. Each LM/LMT includes a built-in data logger. We can perform calculations such as valve torque distribution, actuator events and Interpretation and suggestion based on analysis of operational data such as statistics. The recorded data information can also be transmitted to the user's site headquarters via IrDATM compatible PDA. After analyzing and changing the configuration of the actuator, it will be sent back to the actuator.

  • Profibus

    All the functions of Profibus DP designed with SIEMENS SPC3 integrated chip are compatible with EN50170 standard. The data transmission rate is 9.8Kbit/s, the data volume of each message is 244 bytes, and the response time is from hundreds of microseconds to hundreds of milliseconds. The transmission medium is shielded twisted pair or optical fiber. Isolation technology eliminates external interference. According to user requirements, standard fieldbus interfaces such as DN, HAT, and FF can also be provided.
